Shirley was born in Buffalo, New York and raised in Southern California.
At the age of 6 her family moved to Alaska, where they lived for a year. This began Shirley's many travel adventures. At the age of 12 she visited Mexico City and saw the pyramids outside the city. She was a volunteer at Cedars Sinai Medical Center at the time, and was sent to Mexico City to teach nurses how to assemble lines that connect the patient to the artificial kidney machines. Shirley was a volunteer in this program with the inventor of the Artificial Kidney machine. Later journeys led her to Spain, England, Italy, France, Holland, Hawaii, the Bahamas, Hungary, Poland, the Yucatan, Greece, Egypt, Scotland, Wales, India, Tibet and many other locations.
Shirley began dancing at the age of 9. She played violin, guitar and piano as years went by. She composed music, sang with a professional singing group called "The Four Winds" and did plays and performances throughout the Los Angeles area. She also enjoyed drawing, painting and sculpting in a variety of media.
Shirley married young and started a family in her early twenties. During this time she assisted her spouse in running a business that included 45 employees and 5 corporations. Her duties included organizing clerical staff, keeping books for all 5 corporations (including payroll, quarterly returns, financial statements etc.), doing artwork for neon signs, going to gift shows
nation wide, and meeting with owners of large corporations and buyers to discuss business plans. These businesses produced gifts and novelties and included 3 Flower Shops.
In her thirties, Shirley became conscious of the spiritual world inside her and began pursuing extensive teachings of a spiritual nature.
In her mid thirties she began college for the first time and studied Microbiology with an emphasis in Genetics at UCSB and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In 1990 she received a Doctorate Degree in Metaphysics.
In her forties she has created an overview perspective based on her vast experience in the Arts, Business, Science, Spiritual Studies and Traveling. Blending these disciplines has given Shirley tremendous insight into the many facets of world activities and concerns. Her current programs reflect the realization that Spirit and Science are converging into a usable Life Style Experience that can benefit all.
In her fifties, Shirley is making movies with the intent of uplifting the world and shifting perspectives to a global family that nurtures each other and the planet. It is Shirley’s desire that everyone on the planet view her movie “Awakening”, so that we all remember that anything is possible. It is time for us to live our dreams. Let’s dream this world into a loving, joyous, abundant, and fulfilling place to live. Together EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
Inspiring the world to wake up and make this planet a better place to live.
